Ford Twins Magic: Fiesta and Figo

Ford Figo
The Ford Figo is based on the Ford Global B platform. On the whole, the Figo is as good as any other small car. However, the front end of this subcompact hatchback is sleek and looks very stylish and attractive. Though small, the four-metre length of the Figo ensures a tall, purposeful look.
The ride quality of the Ford Figo is quite exceptional both at the front and rear. The Indian roads which have quite a few speed breakers will easily be taken by the Figo in its stride without sending a rude message to the driver's or passengers' back.
The Figo leverages Ford's small-car platform architecture with solid proportions. It shares essential technology with the Ford Fiesta, already familiar to Indian drivers
Ford Fiesta

Ford has come up a new Fiesta while still keeping the old Fiesta as Fiesta Classic. The new Fiesta is a sense and style statement in its own.
The  Ford Fiesta  needed the revamp which the Ford has done the same with the launch of the new Ford Fiesta. The new Fiesta looks more charming, modern and much more evolved character with enhanced curves, distinctive grills and a sporty rear as compared to the previous Fiesta which the company has rightly termed as Ford Fiesta Classic.placing the car both for the younger generation and blue collared persons. This dual personality is also visible by the chrome strip across the side windows with black strip across the windows pillars. It looks like the chrome strip has been placed just because of the love of Indians for chrome. It has been surveyed that Indians take chrome as a superior metal.

How does ego affect Relationships?

Ego is nothing but a collection of your thoughts from all your past experiences put together. For example, you get to know a person and try to become friends with him/her. And over a period of time, lets say that the friendship evolves into a relationship. During the past meetings and encounters, they would have projected each others mental images. This projection of a person has a physical as well as a mental aspect to it. So, what we end up seeing in a relationship after a period of time, you will see actual persons, but the projection of one person to the other. At some point of time in the relationship, the true nature of these images will come out into the open. When I say true images, these correspond to the manner in which the two people in the relationship projects himself/herself to the other person. Once these images start popping up over the course of time in a relationship, the joyful period gets over and people start getting doubts each others. Anything that is related to your senses will not provide you with a chance for fulfillment of love.

So what does “fulfillment of love” actually mean?

The moment you start aiming for fulfillment, you have to realize that fulfillment is nothing but moving beyond the emotions and this is attained by helping each other. If this happens, there will be no ego and the consequent image projections that happen between two people will not have any value and will rather provide you with enjoyable memories. Also, remember that the prime goal of a relationship is moving out of mental projections. When you allow yourself to form a mental projection of the other person, it will blur your clarity of thought and stop your growth. If you stop your growth in the relationship, inevitably, you will stop the growth of the other person. When I say “growth”, I mean “the growth of fulfillment”. Hence, ego is nothing but a barrier for fulfillment in relationships.

The other way defining the EGO - It is a combination of your past experiences along with your emotions. So, a person has to get rid of his/her ego in order to experience the true nature of a relationship. If somebody understands the way they live in a relationship, it will ultimately lead to the blossoming of the relationship to the next level. On the contrary, if you allow your life to be based on the mental projection, there is a chance of you going down the path leading to depression. Actually, it will indeed surely lead to depression. So, if one understands the consequences of forming a mental projection and makes the other person in the relationship to understand and realize this, then life itself will become divine. That is the ultimate relationship between you and your ego. Ego has to be understood in another dimension.

Some people might ask “How do I relate to if he/she commits a mistake? How do I correct him/her?“. Of course, I agree there are people who are really close to us and the only possibility is to realize the entire concept of losing one’s ego and understand that the person has to be open. When you say “Open”, it means that he/she has to have the thought “Okay, I want to know how to grow into this relationship; I want to get these idiotic thoughts out of my head and listen to him/her”. If you are ready to listen to these words, then there is a chance for you to open your heart and start experiencing the true nature of the relationship. The Ego goes then true love will get unveil in a relationship.

Maa Kamakhya's Abode
The centuries-old turtles in the ponds of Kamakhya Temple are under threat as their territory is being invaded by the thousands of devotees, visiting the temple on the occasion of Ambubachi Mela. Though the exact population of the turtles in these ponds are not known. Kamakhya temple has three ponds which has been home to these turtles for around 300 years. However, every year during Ambubachi mela devotees plunge into the ponds for a dip and also pollute the ponds while trying to feed them biscuits, bread crumbs and puffed rice.

A glimpse of a turtle in the Kamakhya Pond
While the  kamrup metro district  administration, Guwahati Municipal Corporation and the Kamakhya Debutter Board are concerned about maintaining proper hygienic conditions in and around the Kamakhya temple during Ambubachi mela.  The protection of the three ponds- Bhairabi Pukhuri, Natun Pukhuri and Saubhagya Kunda and the turtles have not been on the priority list of either the administration or the temple authorities. According to the the Kamakhya Debutter Board,  restrictions will be put  on feeding turtles at the ponds in Kamakhya. Recently the Debutter Board, which monitors the administrative work in the Kamakhya temple, joined hands with NGO Aaranyak for conservation of turtles in the temple ponds through scientific intervention. There are about eight old temples in Assam, including Kamakhya and Haigrib Madhab at Hajo in Kamrup (metro) and Kamrup (rural) district respectively that houses different species of turtles.

Guwahati’s Baking Bonds with Shaikh Brothers

Shaikh Brothers Building
Nearly 125 years ago, Shaikh Ghulam Ibrahim, a young and an enterprising youth from Hoogly district in Bengal came to Assam to execute a construction related business when Guwahati- Shillong Road was rebuilt by Maula Baux, the famous contractor of those times. During his visit Ghulam Ibrahim realized Assam’s good potentialities for bakery business where a good number of Britishers were settled by that time. Ibrahim’s family was then doing a roaring business at their bakery in Calcutta's Mirzapur Street. However, their business in Calcutta suffered seriously due to a plague epidemic in early 1880’s. Thus, at that time Shaikh Ghulam Ibrahim decided to proceed Assam to diversify and expand his .                                                                                     business beyond Calcutta.

The 100 year old heritage chair of Shaikh Ghulam Ibrahim
Shaikh Ghulam Ibrahim and his brothers Shaikh Sobiruddin and Shaikh Kabiruddin also joined him and thus Messrs Shaikh Brothers was established in 1885. The British settelers and the emerging middle class led to provide a good bakery market in Assam. Considerations like distance vision, and the challenge to introduce something new convinced the Shaikh Brothers about a bright bakery business in Assam. The present RCC building of Shaikh Brothers was previously an Assam type house. The present owner of Shaikh Brothers, Shaikh Shaheen Nawaz stated that they import wheat and cheese from Australia, Hoves ( a type of yeast for fermentation) from Belgium, cashewnuts from Goa, dry dates and raisins from North India and Peshawar. Workers are generally employed from Bengal, Bihar and Assam. Now Shaikh Brothers also sells cosmetics and medicines other than bakery products. The good old Shaikh Brothers still use big old baking ovens for baking purpose. Guwahatians thronged Shaikh Brothers to buy their favourite cakes and cookies, patties, pizzas, pastries, etc. A special paratha ‘Bakar- Khani’ is one of the popular delicacy of Shaikh Brothers.

Thus, Messrs Shaikh Brothers is an integral part of Guwahati’s heritage. It has watched a small town grow into a thriving metropolis. Since 125 years Shaikh Brothers played an important role to increase the taste buds of Guwahatians.

Shopkeeper's Quick Profit

Assam University, Silchar is a sprawling and a lively campus where you will find young students hanging out in almost every food joints. Two such popular shops in the campus is almost surrounded by a large group of students who come to the shop to grab a quick bite and to purchase eatable items. But whenever the shopkeepers are unable to return the students a nominal balance amount after their purchase, they were forced to buy something within that nominal amount against their wishes. The innocent students are unable to argue with those greedy shopkeepers but have to buy the items. In many cases it is shown that if a student buys a product for Rs 5, gives a Rs 10 note to the shopkeeper with a hope to get Rs 5 in return. The shopkeeper tells them to buy some other product which is equal to the value of Rs 5 because the shopkeeper tells them that he do not have Rs 5 note to give to the students. This is the daily incident occurs where almost every students faces this problem. The shopkeepers take undue advantage upon the students to accomplish their own selfish profits. Do u thing this should be curbed in any way  possible??
